Interesting facts about the frames
A frame usually consists of the top bar with lugs, side bar, which give the height of the frame, and the bottom bar. If a frame is "modified," this means that the top bar is thicker than the rest of the frame parts. In addition, the top bar has a groove. In this the foundation sheet is guided. If the frame has "Hoffmann side parts' or "HT" then the side part is widened upwards to give the desired spacing/honeycomb of 35 mm.
