Attach the ampoule to a frame using a pin or needle, preferably close to the hive entrance. The ampoule features a practical loop at the top for easy attachment.ImportantDo not open or puncture the ampoule. The pheromone evaporates automatically and evenly from the tube. Do not use honeycombs or previously used frames in the hive, as these may encourage robbing behavior and attract diseases, ants, or wax moths.Tips for Best Results• Place the hive as far away from your apiary as possible (up to approx. 250 m / 820 ft).• A shaded location improves ventilation and pheromone evaporation.• Avoid direct sunlight and overheating of the hive.• Ideally, the hive entrance should face south.
