The steam wax melter is completely made of stainless steel. The steam is not generated in the melting tank but in the water tank beneath. This version uses a submersible tube heater to heat the water tank.

• Operation via thermostatically adjustable submersible tube heater 3 kW / 230 V (30 – 110 °C)
• A melting process takes approx. 40 minutes (depending on the quality of the honeycomb material)
• Water volume in the water tank 19 litres
• Capacity approx. 30 frames DN, Zander or Langstroth, 16 frames Dadant brood, 35 frames Dadant supers
• Inner tank Ø 63 cm, welded bottom without gap
• Rigit handles
• Lid with silicon gasket and locking ring, seals the tank completely tight

Citric acid powder (pack of 1 kg)

To ensure that you enjoy working with your steam wax melter for as long as possible, regular descaling is essential. Use the citric acid powder (food grade) for this purpose. For decalcification, please always refer to the description of the respective device! For decalcifying the steam generators please consider the following mixing ratio: 1:10, that means mix 100 g to 1 litre of water and stirr until all crystals have dissolved.
