How a CFM tangential extractor works
The previously uncapped honeycombs are positioned tangentially to the tank within the honeycomb basket. First, one side of the honeycomb is emptied. Subsequently, the frame can be turned within the basket, so that the secand side is ejected.
Range of applications for a CFM tangential extractor
A tangential honey extractor suits apiaries with a number of 1 - 15 beehives. So in the field of amateur or small beekeeping. Regardless of the honeys. It should be noted with each extracting process necessarily a uniform loading of the honey extractor. The advantage of the tangential honey extractor is that the honeycombs are supported by the grid surface during the rotation of the basket process, so that the honeycombs are less stressed by the centrifugal force.
The process incl. manual turning of the frames takes about 5 - 8 min. (depending on the type of honey)
