How a CFM self-turning honey extractor works
The previously uncapped honeycombs are placed in the designated honeycomb pockets. At rest, the frames, similar to a radial honey extractor, are star-shaped in the tank. As soon as the spinning process is started, the movable honeycomb pockets are tangential to the tank wall according to the centrifugal force (left or right rotation), meaning that they turn tangentially during the spinning process. Depending on the equipment of the CFM-self tuning extractor the direction is changed by hand or electronic control. Both honeycomb sides are ejected automatically and efficiently.
Range of applications for a CFM self-turn honey extractor
A self-turning honey extractor is suitable for 15 or more bee colonies. It can be distinguished again after top- or bottomdrive motor. Particularly suitable for harvesting viscous honeys. With this kind of extractor, there is rarely a honeycomb break due to the good support of the honeycomb, even at high speeds. Again, a uniform loading of the honey extractor should be considered.

With an inner tank Ø of just 63 cm, this self-turning extractors is one of our narrowest models.The low-noise top drive gear motor offers you the possibility to switch from right to left (or vice versa) via a tilt switch. As soon as you change the direction with the switch, the drive automatically stops and then starts again in the other direction. The rotary knob can be steplessly adjusted. The honey extractor is also equipped with a safety device so that the lid cannot be opened during the extraction process.
